The Hilger alternating axis is defined for $h>1$ by $$\mathbb{A}_h = \left\{z \in \mathbb{R} \colon z < -\dfrac{1}{h} \right\},$$ and for $h=0$ we let $\mathbb{A}_0=\emptyset$.
