Let $\mathbb{T}$ be a time scale. We say that a self-adjoint equation $(py^{\Delta})^{\Delta}+qy^{\sigma}=0$ is disconjugate on an interval $[a,b] \cap \mathbb{T}$ if there is no nontrivial solution with two (or more) generalized zeros on the interval $[a,b]\cap\mathbb{T}$.
