The Hilger alternating axis is defined by $$\mathbb{A}_h = \{z \in \mathbb{C}_h \colon z \in \mathbb{R}, z < -\dfrac{1}{h} \right\},$$ where $\mathbb{C}_h$ is the Hilger complex plane.
